Linux desktop usage is up by 61 percent

This is great news for those linux users out there. According to the W3Counter DOT com, linux usage has increased by 61.6 percent in market shares in the last nine months. That means that the amount of Linux desktops has increased from 1.25 percent in may of 2007 to 2.02 percent in march of 08.

  1. Do you have a particular linux distro you would recomend?

  2. I am a debian fan. Some of debians derivatives are good too, such as Ubuntu and Linux mint for example. But the one i recommend the most is Linux mint.

    Mainly because linux mint was taken from lots of distros, such as Fedora, Redhat, Debian/Ubuntu, and SuSe
